A Spark Arrestor is a device which prevents the emission of flammable debris/sparks from combustion sources.
A Spark Arrestor plays a critical role in the prevention of stimulated sparks while fume is flowing through the device.
The effectiveness is quantified simply by the ratio of particles trapped or pulverized by the arrestor by baffling mechanism. It may be cassette type or tubular type or cooler type based on the application. Heavier Dust particles are arrested and sucked fume temperature is also lowered. It’s used as the protector of fabric filters of bag house.
